[Psychology] - Psychopath versus Sociopath.
Criminal Minds (TV Drama based on real-life FBI psychological profilers) distinguishes between the 2 (one episode had a psychopath teaming up with a sociopath, and the FBI agents had to profile both accordingly). So does Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch), who famously said :
So is there a difference? Depends on which school of psychological thought you ascribe to. Some psychologists & psychiatrists distinguish between the 2, some don't.
Also, it's interesting to note that many famous psychopaths or sociopaths, whether fictional or real-life, are themselves psychologists or psychiatrists. Most infamous fictitious example : Hannibal Lecter.

Almost everyone missed the point. As pearlstrickland_ put it, "to be fair, seems like the guy in white might be cutting queue for the taxi, resulting in the ah bengs being angry.".
And the ah bengs were nice enough not to use any violence on the taxi queue cutter, otherwise they would have crossed the line. As it is, it's the queue cutter that's the bad guy, not the ah bengs.

[Religion] - Sam Harris and Glenn Greenwald are 2 men who are well-known vociferous speakers on many topics, including on Islamophobia and Islamic extremism. Oh, and the two men vehemently loathe each other, and accuse each other of being bigoted retards. I caution against an overly naïve and simplistic view of 1 being pro-Islam and the other being anti-Islam, because they both actually make many valid points which deserve a hearing out, which are in and of themselves, neither necessarily pro nor anti Islam. 1 issue of contention, which Muslims themselves struggle with, is the unfortunate but inevitable association between Islam the religion, and Islamic extremism that everyone, including and especially Muslims, agree is a problem for the world (because it is a fact, that over 90% of all victims of Islamic extremism are Muslims themselves, both directly and indirectly).

[Medicine] - Medical researchers from NTU's School of Medicine have worked out a 3-drug combo that is effective against drug-resistant Tuberculosis. Individually, each of the 3 drugs are relatively useless against the bacterium (not virus) behind drug-resistant TB. When the 3 different drugs are combined, they have a 99% efficacy in wiping out drug-resistant TB. The key is the correct combination of drugs (out of thousands of available drugs), which previously no one else could figure out, which is why this is a remarkable achievement by the NTU medical researchers.

Sg govt is doing good by cyclists. If only all Singaporeans (whether as drivers, cyclists or pedestrians) would be more ethical and considerate. I would certainly cycle a lot more than I do now. Almost died cycling on Singapore roads several times.

The Straits Times have got their marketing and sales strategy all wrong. It doesn't take an economic genius to know that if they priced their subscriptions more competitively (consider that ChannelNewsAsia.com is entirely free), they would get a lot more subscribers and overall enjoy greater profitability.

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, Amos. The whole of Singapore (both pro and anti groups) are hoping your US asylum bid succeeds, but now that the US Homeland Security has appealed against your bid, who knows how the next judge will rule? And it's Amos' right to setup fund-raising projects, just as it's every individual's right to choose to donate or not to, but frankly his inflated sense of unjustified entitlement wears thin on everyone.
