Fishing for fun is karmically cruel. The sharp hook pierces agonizingly through the roof of the helpless fish's mouth (when all it wanted was to eat to live). You shouldn't harm or kill an animal unless you're going to eat it, like how it's done in the natural world.
And what's worse, there are recreational fisherman who cut off the fish's mouth to get back their hook, then dump it back to the sea to slowly die.

They deliberately keep the fish's head alive, by deep frying the rest of the body, and the diners pluck away at the deep fried body meat while the head continues to agonizingly gasp for breath throughout the meal.

In the following video : Octopus' head-brain deliberately kept alive, while it's tentacles are chopped off a couple at a time to serve different customers, one at a time. Also, prawns or shrimps heads kept alive while body cooked and served, and (in separate clips) lobsters and octopuses slowly boiled alive inside hotpot-steamboat on customer's table. Happens every day at many restaurants around the world.

This is indeed a fatal cockup on the part of the scriptwriters, producers and directors. It's understandable why they want Jason Statham to be on the team in Fast & Furious 8, but it's quite impossible to reconcile this with his murder of Han in Fast & Furious 6. Just shrug it off as a Hollywood profit-maximizing casualty. No need to take a movie seriously*, especially the Fast & Furious series (if on the other hand, this was Star Wars, the fans will scream bloody murder).
* I mean, have you seen the Isaac Newton facepalm moment at 2:20 onwards?

And the real danger, as Ruth's sister kena 1st-hand, is when the monkeys start invading HDB apartments in the middle of the night (even 7th floor also kena!).

Fact : The USA has enough military power to destroy all of the other countries on Earth combined. Of course, if that happens, all the other countries will also hurl whatever they have (ie. all nuclear bombs) back at USA, assuring the complete obliteration of all life on Earth. A more realistic scenario though, perhaps precipitated by North Korea and/or Syria and/or South China Sea problems, would be Russia & China (#2 and #3 military superpowers) ganging up on the USA, which is still more than sufficient to destroy most of the world and leaving Earth as a toxic wasteland.

There's no foolproof workaround to deal with such unethical selfish bastards who abuse the trust system of bike-sharing. The company, eg. Ofo, can't penalize the last customer, because (he could claim) someone else chain-locked it after he last used it. So while the 3 bike-sharing companies in Singapore thought they had a winner (uptake and profit-wise) in a non-fixed-docking system for their bikes, they didn't expect Singapore had so many unethical selfish bastards (definitely includes both Singaporeans and foreigners) who abuse such sharing-bikes as their own property. Such bike-sharing systems do indeed test the level of ethical civility of a society, but then again, all societies in all countries have their share of unethical bastards, and Singapore can't possibly be an exception.
