Check out the visitor comments below the video (posted by another Aussie who witnessed the incident). Majority of comments (from Singaporeans, Aussies and other foreigners) are mocking the Singapore Police for not being effective & violent enough (compared to USA Police or Aussie Police, who are much more used to encountering violent criminals and subduing them with violence), rather than focusing on the misbehavior of the Aussie 'bogan' (an Aussie slang). Japan favours Aegis Ashore over THAAD
Aegis Ashore and THAAD both have pros and cons, and this blog post explains why THAAD is better for South Korea, but Aegis Ashore is better for Europe (and concordantly Japan as well).
Of course, both Aegis Ashore and THAAD are operated by Lockheed Martin Corp, one of many American defence companies that serve primarily the USA Govt, and of course, the USA Missile Defense Agency has multiple missile defence systems (of which Aegis Ashore and THAAD are but only 2 of them) in operation, which is why the USA is the world's #1 military superpower by an unsurpassable margin.
If not for the global diplomatic fallout (from murdering 25 million human lives) holding them back, the USA could easily wipe out all of North Korea overnight, or (for that matter), all of Singapore within an hour.

Check out the insane life-size statute artwork "Release from Deception" of Francesco Queirolo (so let's see, supreme talent like his goes unrewarded and he dies a pauper, while hao siao 'artists' like Damien Hirst get billions of dollars for dumping dead animals into formaldehyde and declaring them as great art).
What's truly insane, is that Francesco Queirolo lived many centuries ago, and had to carve this huge life-size statue with the intricate netting, painstakingly from solid rock all by himself with nothing more than a hammer and chisel (no powerful PC software or 3D printers back then).

First of all, this didn't take place in Singapore. And from their comments, Singaporeans don't seem to realize that this particular incident is mild, by China standards. In China, it is common (like, several such incidents every day? you know how big China and its population is?) to have the wife and her own gang of 6-8 friends (usually women, but sometimes include men) not only totally strip naked the mistress in public, but also thereafter viciously beat her up without mercy for prolonged periods (with dozens or hundreds of members of public around watching, no one dares to intervene) until the crying/screaming/begging mistress is all bloody and losing consciousness, sometimes shaving the mistress' head bald, with 2-3 of the wife's gang filming the incident on their handphones to upload her humiliation online permanently on the internet (ostensibly so she won't dare to look for the husband again). Common ethical decency sense dictates that in such a scenario, the worst karmic perpetrators are : the wife, followed by her participating gang members, followed by her husband (especially if he was present but didn't even try to stop the wife), the members of the public who just watch without intervening in the public mob lynching, and lastly, moreso the victim than a perpetrator, the mistress herself (who may have been lied to and not even know the cheating husband is married, and/or it was the husband who, sick of his ugly fat wife, actively pursued after the mistress).

At such FJs (internet abbreviation for FlowerJoints), you can see many Singaporean old men forking out Sg$1000 or Sg$5000 per garland / sash (which have many tiers from $20 to $20,000) to give to the girls they fancy (of course, the boss/pimp/owner/gangster keeps half for himself), hoping such expensive gifts can pave the way more intimate contact with the girl outside the show, which is why, as reported by the Yahoo article, some girls can make up to Sg$100,000 in a single night. This is another aspect of Singapore (the 'Geylang' aspect) not many Singaporeans are familiar with.
