In the first place, all forms of unnecessary (ie. non-medical purpose) body modifications, including tattoos and plastic surgeries, are ill-advised. Even earholes for earrings are unnecessary for girls (let alone guys, but apparently some LGBTs use earrings for symbolic purposes), and run the risk of infections.

Sure she has a point that the hospital partially ruined her quality of life, and they should indeed compensate her for the misdiagnosis. But on the bright side, she doesn't have AIDS. She should at least appreciate getting a new lease on life, that would be her own personal test, separate from the lawsuit outcome.

Edited to add : the hospital can and should argue for the possibility of spontaneous remission, which in truth, *is* possible (there has been at least 1 documented case), just very unlikely.

It took years for the U.N. Development Program to convince the fishing communities along India's tropical western coast that the diamond-mesh nets they were using were trapping baby fish, while a square-shaped mesh could allow small fish to escape to maintain a breeding population. But two years after the new nets were fully adopted, fishermen insist they're making a difference.
"This square net is a blessing for us," said John Gabriel Naronha, who runs six trawlers in the area. "When the small fish grows up, the fishermen can really benefit ... we can get good prices for big fish. And the small fish gets a chance to grow. So we now have more big fish."

What's particularly coconaden about this idiot-murderer-terrorist-robber's plan, is that he stole (Sg$2.27 million) plastic chips instead of cash during the robbery. It didn't occur to him that the casino will simply void all existing chips and replace with new chips? Either way, dozens of innocent people died for nothing.

Dunno if this will be a regular thing, but for the 1st episode, includes robot AI versus human genius... so far, the robot AI is leading, and the human genius was shocked, said he did not expect to be defeated by a 'mere robot'.
