The fact that the US Govt (even if it's a Donald Trump cockup, but it might be a good cockup) is publicly acknowledging the existence of UFOs (and accordingly, strongly implied extraterrestrial presence on Earth) for the 1st time in human history, is a significant step towards eventual disclosure (there'll never be full disclosure, don't be naïve).
Are we alone in the universe? Government officials confirmed for the first time this month that the U.S. Defense Department has been trying to answer that question, according to the New York Times.
Out of the defense department’s $600 billion budget, a very well-hidden $22 million went to the Advanced Aviation Thread Identification Program, an initiative that investigates reports of "anomalous aerial vehicles," more colloquially known as UFOs.
The former director of the program, a military intelligence official named Luis Elizondo, resigned in October and shared previously classified videos of fighter jet pilots sighting UFOs.
"There's a whole fleet of them!" one US military pilot can be heard saying.
The video, taken from the cockpit camera, shows glowing objects traveling at high speeds while rotating and includes audio of Navy pilots struggling to process what they are seeing.

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has warned UN members she will be “taking names� of countries that vote to reject Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
In a letter seen by the Guardian, Haley told countries – including European delegations – that she will report back to the US president with the names of those who support a draft resolution rejecting the US move at the UN general assembly on Thursday, adding that Trump took the issue personally.
Haley writes: “As you consider your vote, I encourage you to know the president and the US take this vote personally.
“The president will be watching this vote carefully and has requested I report back on those who voted against us,� she continued.
