In an angrily worded statement, the North warned "if the US is trying to drive us into a corner to force our unilateral nuclear abandonment, we will no longer be interested in such dialogue."
The statement was attributed to first vice foreign minister Kim Kye Gwan and carried by state media KCNA.
In that case, he added, Pyongyang would have to "reconsider" its participation at next month's summit in Singapore.
The first vice foreign minister also tore into Trump's National Security Advisor John Bolton for drawing parallels between North Korea and Libya, calling the comparison "absolutely absurd."
"We do not hide our feeling of repugnance towards him," he said of Bolton.
Bolton has pushed the idea of a deal with North Korea like that reached with Libya's Muammar Gaddafi, who agreed in 2003 to the elimination of his country's nuclear programme and chemical weapons arsenal to gain sanctions relief.
After giving up his atomic programme, Gaddafi was killed in 2011 in an uprising backed by NATO bombing.

These screens rely on hidden cameras, microphones and computers to guess if you’re male or female. This might sound futuristic, but patrons in a Norwegian pizzeria discovered it’s exactly what was happening: Women were seeing ads for salad and men were seeing ads for meat options.
LGBT people with diverse gender identities, including those identifying as transgender or gender nonbinary, are potentially offended that these AI systems would inevitably miscategorize them at least some, of not most, of the time.

Same thing happened in Singapore. At Challenger Funan (Customer Service department) several years back, an ang moh man started scolding Singaporean employees for speaking to each other in Chinese in front of ang moh customers. The ang moh man said to an ang moh woman (they probably don't even know each other), "U know what he just said? He said u're a stupid idiot in Chinese!". Which was total nonsense, but a xenophobic racist doesn't want the truth, he just wanna be a xenophobic racist.

There were 46 U.S. and Nigerien troops out on the initial mission in the west African nation, going after but failing to find a high-value militant, then collecting intelligence at a site where the insurgent had been. The team was heading home when it was attacked by more than 100 militants just outside the village of Tongo Tongo. During the firefight, a number of the Nigeriens escaped by truck, but four U.S. and four Nigerien troops were gunned down.
The video depicts seven American forces and four Nigeriens fleeing on foot, under heavy mortar and small arms fire. They crossed through a swamp, and at about 12:50 p.m. on Oct. 4, they hunkered down at the edge of a clearing.
"They wrote short messages to loved ones on personal devices, believing they would soon be overrun," the video narrator says.

Many in tonight's Singapore Indoor Stadium spectator crowd were disrespectful assholes, rudely booing "BOOORRRRIINNNGGG!!!" to both Martin Nguyen and Christian Lee multiple times during their fight. Angela Lee was right to scold the crowd in her victory speech.
But it's always the bad apples, the black sheep, that sabo the good people. I kena sabo all the time. Congrats to victors Martin Nguyen (Christian Lee improved tremendously from their last fight in which Martin almost killed Chrstian, he's almost equal to Martin now, almost) and Angela Lee (as always, Mei Yamaguchi has always been Angela's toughest opponent, the only opponent that Angela couldn't finish, and still couldn't).

A Malaysian former police officer convicted of killing a young woman in a scandal linked to the country's disgraced ex-leader offered Saturday to reveal who ordered the grisly slaying in exchange for a full pardon, a media report said.
Sirul Azhar Umar, now in Australian custody after fleeing Malaysia in 2015, has maintained that he was ordered by "important people" to murder the Mongolian woman, Altantuya Shaariibuu, in 2006.
Altantuya was murdered and her body blown up with military-grade explosives.
Her murder was the most shocking aspect in a scandal involving allegations that an associate of recently ousted premier Najib Razak arranged huge kickbacks for the purchase of French submarines in 2002.
Sirul told online news outlet Malaysiakini in an interview Saturday that he was ready to assist Malaysia's new government in the Scorpene case, a potential major breakthrough in a scandal suppressed by Najib's government.
