[Philippines] - An off-duty cop is driving home when he sees 2 men violently fighting, then decides to help out by stopping his car, getting out, walking over to them and ask them to stop fighting. The 2 men turn out to be brothers who happen to be gangsters, and they both then attack the cop. 1 brother takes out a gun and fires at the cop but misses. The cop returns fire, killing him. 3 other brothers rush forward, and the 4 brothers together kill the cop. In the police manhunt for the 4 brothers in the next 24 hours, 2 of the brothers are killed in separate scuffles with the police, 1 is now in custody, and 1 managed to escape.

Recently I employed a new Indonesian domestic helper to help out with my hectic housework. I called her to use the fresh fish at home and fry it for dinner tonight.
To my shock when I reached home, I saw my pet Luo Han fish fried and on the dinner plate. I am angry but I cannot blame my domestic helper because maybe my instructions was not clear enough to her.
Should I be upset with myself or my helper? Sigh.

[Indonesia] - Condolences to the victims and family. What a terrible way to slowly die : 11 people locked up by the robbers in a tiny toilet cubicle overnight causing 6 to slowly die of suffocation (your lungs won't even have the space to expand enough to take a full breath), including 2 young teenage daughters and their schoolmate.
Point of note : the police chief used this case to say Indonesia should be more like Singapore, having CCTV cameras everywhere in public (like in Singapore) greatly helps the police solve crime, as it did in this case thanks to the CCTV cameras installed in the victim's home.
