In case you don't quite get what the Singaporean Uber man is talking about in one of his rants, due to social conditioning by the archaic and unethical caste system in India, many Indian expats (ie. from India) deem themselves superior to Singaporean Indians and in fact, all Singaporeans (with the possible exception of ang mohs, which they feel they're on par with).

[France] - Migrants versus Migrants : North African violent gangs now target their hate attacks on Chinese migrants (including little kids younger than 10 years old).
Several Chinese migrants have already been killed by North Africans migrants. While the hate crime rate grows, local migrants from North Africa openly voice their prejudices.
One North African told the reporter, "That’s the way it is. We don’t like the Chinese." Another added: "The Chinese have become too rich in France, while we Africans remain poor. That’s just not fair. They have nice clothes and big cars."
Despite the open hostility and violence, local French police (who do not like any of the migrants) have largely refused to intervene or concern themselves with this growing migrants-versus-migrants problem.

Jeremia Christy Suriadi almost died after a lorry hit her on her racer bicyle in Seletar, suffering compression fractures in seven vertebrae of her spine and breaking her left hip, leaving her bedridden for 6 months. She's bounced back by sheer strength of will, and she's now back on her racer bicycle hitting the Singapore roads again.

No one can possibly be happy to kena a locked-in syndrome. It's obvious to me (but unfortunately not to the researchers), that when they replied "yes" to the question, what they really meant was, "I'm happy that's finally a way to communicate!". Additionally, for some of the locked-in patients, they may have felt a concern that if they said they weren't happy, it might be misconstrued that they're asking to be euthanized.

[USA] - Police used a backhoe to breach a building at Delaware's largest prison early Thursday, ending what the governor called a "torturous" hostage standoff that left one prison guard dead.
Inmates used "sharp instruments" to assume control of the building at the James T. Vaughn Correction Center on Wednesday, taking three prison guards and a woman counselor hostage. The inmates told a local newspaper that concerns about their treatment and over the new leadership of the United States (ie. Donald Trump) had prompted their actions to seize the prison.
The woman counselor, a Department of Correction employee, was rescued. Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security Robert Coupe said some inmates had shielded her from harm from the other inmates. She is being examined at a hospital with minor injuries.
