The Singaporean Mediacorp Channel U host kept crying as he faced the camera, and described how a young primary school boy, Chris John, willingly chose to, every single day, carry a 42kg load of charcoal over many kilometers across harsh forest-mountainous terrain under heavy thunderstorm rains (the muddy ground becomes dangerously slippery, especially when you're carrying heavy loads), just to earn Sg$1 per trip, to help feed his poverty stricken parents and siblings.
"In the poor village of Luzon in Philippines, people cutting trees illegally to produce charcoal. In the course of making, the two boys, Jomari and Chris John would watch the fire overnight. They are also hired to deliver charcoals that weigh 42kg in total, just to bring food for family members."

But while Uber is a great service, they aren’t knights in shining armor either. Their CEO is a next-level hustler. He’s cold to the bone. He makes sure that Uber steam-rolls into cities and literally scoops up a major chunk of the profit margins from cabs without giving a single fuck.
They basically put up a giant middle finger and grow so large, so fast that local politicians are left scrambling and stuck with their backs against the wall.
And I absolutely love it. Hell, I admire it.

Bad karma for relatives who destructively (in this case, murderously) intrude and interfere in the relationship between 2 consenting adults. Such cases, related to honor killings, are common in many countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.

Any woman who is so materialistic and superficial, you'll an idiot who fully deserves the suffering if you stay with her. Also, whether the article below is or isn't a satirical joke, is irrelevant. Truth is stranger than fiction. There are *many* Singaporean girls (and in fact, from every nationality) who are far worse than described in the article. This is physical incarnation, and it's reasonable for the girl to expect some degree of financial security from the guy, but when the girl outrageously (religious folk would say sinfully) wastes valuable money on luxury goods, when 90% of the world are stricken by poverty, she is a disgrace of a human being, Singaporean or otherwise.
