About 25 years ago I worked in the steel industry, deaths by conveyor belts and mechanical chains like the film above were fairly well known. You would normally find the persons shoes about 20 meters from the accident, as the pressure from being compressed would shoot the blood out of their feet and knock their shoes surprisingly far away from their crushed body.

This American "nate" may seem at first glance to be an alt-right white supremacist Breitbart Trump supporter, but he does make valid points. Due to the ongoing and irreconcilable infighting between dozens (if not hundreds) of armed military groups as well as the endemic corruption in the governments of the 4 African countries (whose millions of civilians are starving to death), they're their own worst enemy (and the real root cause of the famine and starvation), and there's only so much that external aid (hindered by the never-ending wars and corrupt government officials) can do.
