  The Strongman Challenge was held at Toa Payoh HDB Hub Mall on the Sat, 11 Mar 2006. The main event and supporting activities attracted thousands of spectators. The 10 finalists competed in five main events: Chevrolet Car Challenge, SPC Barrel Loading, Log Walk, Stamford Tyre Flip and Rhino Pull during the finals.
  
  The contestants spent months training and preparing for the intense sport which required immerse strength, concentration and willpower. Mr Chaar Chun Hou, 27 years old, a fitness instructor emerged as the champion. Members of the public were able to participate and win attractive prizes when they took part in the side activities like the Body Building Competition, Junior Strongman Challenge, BodyCombat Demonstration and Chevrolet Car Challenge.
  
  Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, Senior Minister of State (Law & Home Affairs) was the Guest of Honour for the Strongman Challenge. We would like to thank all the participants and sponsors for making this event a success.

  yep correct, they were both held together but NOT simulataneously.

  yea in the side competitions not the main one.I took part in a lighter tyre flip contest for teenage competitors.130kg tyre.This small sized guy managed to win me, he was damn fast.
