It is perfect for dips. Don't believe? Me and my workout buddies use it (we all buy one each) to do parallel dips, and I mean *standard* parallel dips exactly like shown here.

I guarantee you it will be sufficient. I am 1.82m tall, and I just used it to do a dozen standard parallel* dips 15 mins ago.
