No good toys to play with. Seems like all playing PS3 or XBOX.
I think we were more fortunate to have a variety of toys last time. We can always formulate stories when we play with our toys. Sometimes can mix mask with starcom or transformers and form our own story. It was a lot of fun writing our own stories and drawing our toys too.
Sometimes I think the children of the 1980s/1990s have more imagination.

while my older son is bashing up some poor fellas in DOTA, my younger son is playing with his Lego Exoforce series, concorting some new space craft.
I also have heaps of Tomy train sets.... that if we want to do it on some fine Saturday after, the tracks cover almost my entire hall (I have a big hall). -

i used to love to play with predator and double dragons figurines.....predator vs double dragon........
then play imaginative storylines with toy robots -
children who grew up 80s and early 90s enjoyed better quality cartoon as compared to children today. for example ghostbusters, ninja turtles, transformers etc. these cartoons came with wide range of toys.

The cartoon was short but it left some good memories in my childhood. -

anyone remb the mechwarrior cartoon?? it had some of the battle scenes in 3d vector graphics.....cool.....
it was also the only cartoon i watched in which the good guys don't win very often -
