Actually can just take any comb, but I read there are techniques like dipping them in hot water to style.
Of course you can apply shampoo and wax. -

Most takara dolls come dressed in a tight rubber suit, as in they are not cloths like barbies. Furthermore their boots are screwed on. Since takara dolls are designed to hold weapons, I guess it is the best we can do.

The collector's edition .. most of the dolls their hair is 'gelled' or tied. So want to comb also cannot.
PS: Actually when I'm replying to Unker Eng, I'm actually writing to the audience, cos this kind of things Unker will surely know .. after all his wife has 100+ dolls. Sample size big enough. -
