What is the name of the war movie about the private soldier who got field promoted and died a lieutenant all in a day's battle? It is called 'the private soldier' in Japan but I think the Hollywood name for that movie is 'hamburger hill II' if it was written and directed in a different way it could have been at hit

You mean there is a Hamburger Hill 2? I've been trying to get the Hamburger Hill movie online watch free by streaming without downloading but I have difficulty getting it.

Yes try that title'hamburger hill 2' If I remember right the first one was about an entrenched position called hamburger hill which also happened to be an artillery reference point.so when they were attacked in waves they had no choice but to call for artillery bombardment onto their own position

The hamburger hill 1 was about assaulting a hill occupied by the NVA and Vietcongs, they managed to overrun the hill but massive casualties from the American side. It was called the hambuger hill because many bloody body parts were in pieces. You mean in hamburger hill part 2, this time the hill is under the Americans control and the Vietnamese are trying to retake that hill?

Oh sorry maybe I got mixed up with movie called 'seige on fire base Gloria' so many wars movies until the one about leftenant Adnan in Pasir Panjang also got lost in my head -
I think you meant was "When the trumpet fade" movie. Yeah, in that movie a private was promoted to an officer within a day in WW2.

It's the obon holidays (Japanese month of the hungry ghost) so I am spending some time with Julian who just turned 21 a few days ago I probably will go to South east Asia this December

Great Britain in the nineteenth century was the super power country in the world and they had inspired and motivated their young and old with stories of honour, glories, liberty and administering new and industrial civilization etc to the uncivilized countries as they termed it through printed materials, a mass media in that era like the U.S. currently through their global dominated movie industry worldwide. I know what you mean because I knew of some Palestinians and middle-eastern origins in the past, who had booed the American made movies while watching them on T.V. I understood their hatred towards the U.S. Actually, I do find some movie productions from Russia, China, India and South Korea are equally on par with Hollywood movies. However, since English language is the universal language of the world, so movies and musics from the U.S. plus with their global networking distribution everywhere, they are the world leader in these trades. I just watch and listens to these movies and musics to pass time and at the same time see what I can learn from it.
