I don't think there is a need to change manager but he has to wake up and get better players.. Sell Ronaldo for high price and use the money to get other players..

Ok let's see where Man U needs improvement.
GK - Van Der Sar is stable but he is only good for a few years. Who you think Man U should get to replace him? Maybe Ricardo the Portugal keeper? Or the Swiss keeper?
Defence - Right back Gary Neville defintely needs replacement. Such a waste to lose out on Cicinho. Wes Brown can deputise well? I can't think of any quality right backs right now.. Left Back, we have Evra. Heinze, Silvestre, and even O'Shea to fight it out so don't think much of a problem. Maybe O'shea can slot into right back but I have doubts on O'Shea even though he sometimes shine. Central Defence, Rio Ferdinand is probably undisputed but Man U would be solid at the back if can get a Jaap Stam kind of defender. Heinze looks very likely to play in centre.
Midfield - Haiz like I always say, the centre of the park is very important and Man U really needs to bolster their centre midfield. Think Park Ji Sung can take up Roy Keane's role? But he looks more attacking minded. I was thinking what about Hargreaves? Scholes can no longer be a first choice for Man U if they really want to mount a serious challenge. Riquelme is a good creative player but needs someone with more defensive qualities. Like a Gerrard or Lampard kind of player. Any ideas? The wingers, we have Richardson but he probably needs a few more years to actually be a regular first team. I was thinking of the Romeo Castelen from PSV or Ajax can't remember which one, to replace C. Ronaldo. Joaquin, Sabrosa seems pretty ideal too. And maybe can go for Downing or try again for Gamst Pedersen from Blackburn.
Striker - Rooney and Saha is good enough upfront. Since Nistelrooy seems to be going off, maybe can try to look for 2 more strikers. Torres seems like a good choice, or Klose or Podolski. If can maybe can get Robinho whom can probably play in the wings too. Tevez also good choice but heard that Russian Chelski guy seems to got him under his hands. -
Unless Man Utd can buy some good midfield players to hold the ball.
They have to rely on individual talent to score goals for them.
Alex have past his prime and Man Utd should get a new manager to motivate the players.
The basic experience and fighting spirit is still present but it will not win them the CL cup again. -
Now I do hope C.Ronaldo and Rooney can make up when return to Old Trafford.

Actually C.Ronaldo is not that good when he play for Man Utd, think he not made for english league...
I rather the Real Madrid pay thru the nose for him then at least man utd got money to buy some really good players they need... -
