Rooney not looking to leave United

Wayne Rooney has admitted he is looking to emulate Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs by remaining at Manchester United for the long-haul.
The England international already has a contract until 2010 and has established himself as a key member of the United squad since his move from Everton at the age of 18.
Now he is looking to the future and admits he cannot see himself anywhere else but at Old Trafford.
'People say I could now have my pick of clubs but this is where I want to be,' Rooney told the Sunday Mirror newspaper.
'I look at people like Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs and I want to be here as long as they have. This is a big club and no one I know ever wants to leave.'
Rooney has had an eventful summer, having made a speedy recovery to feature in England's World Cup campaign before being sent off as they crashed out to Portugal.
The 20-year-old will miss England's first two Euro 2008 qualifiers because of suspension and may be forced to sit out the opening games of the Premiership season after being red carded in the friendly defeat to Porto.
However, Rooney admits he is very happy at Old Trafford and he is targeting a big haul of silverware over the next few seasons.
'I came here because when I was growing up they were the team that won everything and I believe I can achieve what I want to achieve here,' Rooney added.
'I want to win everything - the Premiership, the Champions League and, yes also, the World Cup.'
Rooney's sole winner's medal with United came in last season's Carling Cup. -

I think Fabregas is too young to consider spending his life with only one club.
Cos if thats the case den Anton Ferdinand, Rossi, Phillipe Senderos shud be considered as well.
Barcelona lost Gerard Pique to United as well!

i was thinking owen, fowler when thinking of Liverpool. 4got these 2. and Le Tissier. haven heard that name in a long while. he was good. so was Adams. haha. but Charlton went to preston north end after Man Utd. Senderos played wif Servette, a Swiss club b4 coming to Arsenal. ok lets not mention all the fringe players at Man Utd like Rossi, Richardson, Fletcher.... Man Utd paid for Pique whereas Arsenal grabbed Fabregas for free??
