Fergie: We Are Sick And Tired
Alex Ferguson was gutted after United’s first league defeat to Arsenal in almost 4½ years. He admitted the Gunners were the better side and his team were tired. And the Old Trafford crowd booed when Wayne Rooney was replaced on 77 minutes. Fergie said: “The fans don’t want to see their heroes coming off, but two games in four days after being out for a while takes its toll. We can’t deny Arsenal deserve to win. We had some opportunities but not enough to win. It’s a disappointing result but I don’t think it was a bad performance - but we can play better.”

United's defeat is widely covered, with many tabloids pointing to Sir Alex's pre-match comments that Arsenal were 'a team in transition'.
The Sun speculates that United may be forced to shelve plans to move for Owen Hargreaves in January. The Bayern Munich midfielder suffered a broken leg against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday and will be out for at least six weeks.
