Sunderland boss Roy Keane is reportedly after a favour from his old manager. The Daily Mirror reports that Keane wants to take two of United's brightest prospects on loan to the Stadium of Light.
Roy is keen to sign defender Jonny Evans and midfielder David Jones, both of whom have emerged from the Reserves at Old Trafford but are yet to establish themselves in the first team.
Wow, that's good news!
First of all, it's a good training for the young lads, much better than having to play in the reserves.
Secondly, they can gain league experience - essential for any youth players whom are set to rise through the ranks.
Thirdly, they are joining Keane at Sunderland - Having a Legend of your club as your manager is the best thing to happen. Hopefully Keane can pass his skills and knowledge of the games (minus the temperament) to these lads and they'll come back strong.
Cheers.
