I do watch matches most of the time. So, I do have a sort of mental idea of how every team is like. Read reports on internet etc.
Okay lah, maybe can reveal I this win money recoup my two losses earlier in the season. -

Juz got back from HK late last night, so missed the exciting match..but got my fren (who happened to be LVP fan) to update me on the score..haha. Received a very very good welcome (when I see the score) the moment I on my hp when I landed...from my grouchy fren...hahaha...who has lost 2 consecutive "bets" with me on LVP-UTD games.

Btw, I bought the home jersey and a Utd windbreaker while I was in HK. Very cheap indeed... windbreakers was bt S$80+, jersey S$60+. Real goods cos I bot from one of their high end sports shop in MongKok area...good bargain guys, if you going HK....

ignoring all the gambling posts, I believe MUFC did themselves no favours with a comprehensive win over Liverpool.
In the past game, Liverpool dominate the MF, and MUFC was pushed back and lost by a couch goal.
But in this game, with Scholey back, and Carrick, we managed to play quick one touch to diffuse the Liverpool's MF dominance.
Gerrard was playing at the left to diffuse Giggs' influence, but I feel if you do that, then you are reacting not playing your style, and that's bad.
Saha got a good game, he tested Reina a few times, and that got the defenders to stick to him, and thus opened a big hole.
My jaw dropped when I saw Fletcher in the first 15 mins. He played as if his whole life depended on it.
But it showed that in this team, a mixture of old heads are needed.
With Giggs, Scholes and GVN in the team, there is a sense of balance.
We know when to attack, when to pull back when to cross to other side to attack. I think that is important.
Also, we have eager players on the bench who want to make their mark like Henize, Shea, Brown who can be a significant difference.
Now, I believe we are just a striker away from doing great this season. -
