United could be boosted by the return of four senior players for the visit of Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday.
Rio Ferdinand (neck), Ryan Giggs (illness), Gary Neville (calf) and Gabriel Heinze (hamstring) are all in contention to play against Rafael Benitez's side as United look to retain top spot in the Premiership with another valuable three points.
"We will have to wait to see the extent of Ferdinand's injury but Ryan will be okay, it was just sickness," says Sir Alex.
Ferdinand and Giggs both dropped out of the starting line-up during the warm-up ahead of the Copenhagen game. But both could return on Sunday, while Heinze and Neville have been working hard in training to prove their fitness ahead of the game.
"Heinze is training well and I think he has an outside chance for Sunday," added the United boss. "He's in full training now in terms of rehabilitation and running.
"And we have also wanted to give Gary Neville a full week's training before the Liverpool match."
No~~~!!!
Gary Neville can stay injured till his contract ends.

Hmm, it makes me wonder if Fergie would drop an in-form, attacking full-back Evra for a more defensive full-back Heinze.
I think Giggs would be a certain starter in the match against Liverpool.
Cheers.
