Beckham: I miss Man United

DAVID BECKHAM has admitted how much he misses Manchester United as his Real Madrid career hangs in the balance.
Becks, 31, will snub a new two-year contract and head for the Real exit if he is unable to win back his place under boss Fabio Capello.
Clubs in England, Italy and America are on standby to move for Beckham, who can leave for free at the end of the season when his current deal runs out.
Beckham, who unexpectedly missed training yesterday, has made it clear he would only return to England if it was to rejoin United.
Becks knows boss Alex Ferguson would have the final say.
But he has stepped up the peace process by absolving Fergie for their infamous boot bust-up shortly before he left in 2003.
He added: “It was an accident. I’ve known Ferguson since I was 12-years-old and we have had one or two problems in that time.
"Maybe he didn’t want me to leave. I don’t think there is any desire on his part for me not to have success. In every way, I hope my luck changes.”
Becks has also revealed his disappointment at how RealÂ’s players hardly mix.
He added: “I have friends — Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Michel Salgado — but we don’t go out together enough.
“At Manchester I was there 15 years and every day, every match, we were united, win or lose.
“Every 15 days we went out together to dinner with all the players, including times when Ferguson and all the coaches came.
“In the three years I’ve been here we have done that four times.” -
So he won't miss Man U if his Real Madrid career doesn't hang on balance? -

becks was a winner in his heydays.......too bad, gd things are not permanent. still miss him so much.

if u notice, fergie never gave ex-man u players 2nd chances...
but who knws, beckham wld be raring to go just to prove himself again if he gets the 2nd chance; and given the fact it costs man u nothing to get him on a free transfer this coming jan. -
Haha, i wish that he'll come back too.
On on condition - lower his salary.
Hopefully when he retires, he can return as a midfield coach to pass all his crossing and freekick skills to the next United generation of stars.

RONALDINHO claims Real Madrid would be crazy to let David Beckham leave the Bernabeu.
Beckham, 31, has called a halt to contract talks after failing to hold down a regular place under new coach Fabio Capello.
But Barcelona ace Ronaldinho is confident the ex-England skipper still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
The Brazilian told Icons.com: "I believe David Beckham is a great footballer — he is still one of the best in the world.
"He's a top professional so I am sure he won't let the recent disappointments affect his morale.
Ronaldinho also believes Steve McClaren would be foolish to continue overlooking Beckham.
He added: "I don't know the reason why he has been dropped by England. It's a decision the coach made and only he knows why.
"I don't know Beckham very well personally but I think he is a very good player.
"It's a shame for him that he isn't playing for his country." -
It wld be great if he could really go back to Utd. There are some players who made Utd wat it is.. so much so that without them, the team juz isn't much the same... if you noe wat i mean. Players like Giggs, Beckham, Scholes. Players whose blood has Utd running in them...

but where you want to fit him?
in right? I prefer Ronaldo..
in the centre, I think Scholes and Carrick is doing fine.
And if we get OwenH, we are looking at future of Carrick and OwenH....
And we should be getting a new striker, left winger and right back.
Then we got a team who can challenge for next 5-10 years. -
help clear some of the debts! he can played on the right n ronaldo on the left, dun think giggs can still injury free the whole season.

from what I understand Beckham has been losing appeal since his drop from England team. And if he is so worth the $$$, why would RM let him go? -
and given the mood that the team has at the moment, I would gather they build on it. I am unsure how a beckham would add to the equation.
not that I doubt him, but just that we may have to alter plays just to accomodate his style given that he is already a molded player.
however for someone like owenH, he will come in and do all he can to win.
I prefer raw passion and determination to succeed. -
