Ryan Giggs was withdrawn mid-way through Wales' 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein on Tuesday night after suffering a knock to the ankle, but Welsh boss John Toshack was unable to confirm the seriousness of the injury.
The Wales skipper, who won his 60th cap for his country, was taken off at half-time and replaced by defender Carl Fletcher during the friendly at the Racecourse Ground.
Toshack confirmed Giggs' knock but wouldn't give any further details.
"We made a few changes at half time as Ryan got a knock on the ankle," Toshack told Sky Sports. "His presence in midfield is always important.
"We scored four goals which is always pleasing," he added, "and they were good quality goals as well."
A Jason Koumas double inside the first quarter of an hour was followed by two second half strikes from Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy and Chris Llewellyn as Wales romped to a convincing win.
