Reds' midfielder David Jones has joined Derby County on loan with a view to a permanent move, possibly in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Rams and underwent a medical on Thursday at Pride Park.
Derby boss Billy Davies, who worked with Jones during a loan spell at Preston, is delighted to be acquiring the midfielder's services.
"He has got a wonderful left foot, with a great ability to create and score goals and he is very comfortable in possession and dangerous from set pieces," he said.
"If he does what he does well, I am sure Derby County fans will enjoy watching him play."
Jones has made just three appearances during his Reds' career since joining as a trainee on 1 July 2003.
