Since he came back from injuries, he is still not up to his old self. Should we give him more time?

yes.. cos IMHO he is one of the best left back in EPL, may not be as good as Cole when attacking but as far as being a more complete left back when you take into consideration that defending if also part of their job then he sure is up there with the best that EPL currently had

Actually, without any biasness, i do feel that Evra has improved so tremendously that he has surpass Cole.
Ok, back to topic. Heinze didn't play well since his return maybe becos he lacks match fitness and Evra is on form.

yeap. i dont deny the fact that Evra is improving lots, but I think in terms of experience and solidness Heinze is far better; just that he lacks match fitness. Give him more time is all i can say.. Go Gabby!!

he is a tough tackler and takes no crap fom anyone. i feel he should be playin the keane role instead of left back

give him more time. we wanna see the solid heinze back again. but evra has vastly improved. such healthy competition will only be beneficial to the team.

He's a good player, as shown over the past few seasons. Just that Evra is unstoppable now. I prefer to him over Heinze. Maybe becos he is on form la.

if these two are performing so well then is there still room for Mikael Silvestre?? he used to be a very reliable LB but since Heinze came in, he was kinda pale in comparison, i bet if someone is coming in for him SAF might just sell him away to get more money for his transfer kitty..

I thought that he would be the man of the match, played really well this morning IMO.
