Greatest Man Utd Player in your opinion

yo guys..
dunno if this had been discussed before, if it had and the mods think they should have this deleted, pls feel free to do so...
but in the mean time.. lets discuss abt the Greatest Man Utd Player in your opinion that deserved to be labelled as the Greatest Man Utd Player, but the only rule is that you had to see him play be it live or on media..
IMO, players worthy of being label as the Greatest would be Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel, Bryan Robson, Roy Keane, Giggs, Stam, Ruud.. whats your take.. dun feel awkward even if you player of choice is someone that no one agrees, we are supposed to discuss not argue and remember there is no right or wrong in your choice...

Its hard to say... cos for those who lived during the 60s & 70s, they would probably say Bobby Charlton and George Best... Those in the 80s may think Bryan Robson was the greatest... Then the 90s we have Eric Cantona... the 2000 to todays fans may think Roy Keane was the best... In another 10 yrs down the road, maybe we will say its Rooney or Ronaldo...
So who is the greatest?
For me, personally I still think Cantona was the greatest of them all.

But i still prefer Dwight Yorke!
His sportsmanship, sharp-shooting and excellent postioning made me a United fan.

Peter Schmeichel - Best GK n also the bravest...uses every inch of his body to block the ball....
Eric Cantona - a wonder....but his temper...
Sir Bobby Charlton - No one can ever replace his skills in midfield....
George Best - his name says it all...
Richard Edwards - Wonderkid but life was short 4 him.... -

hmm, i started supporting at 97.. so im more familiar with the younger generation.. for me now, it has to be scholes.. great vision with tenacity.. leading the young lads on numerous encounters..
stam for me is the best D fergie gotten.. solid and unrelentless.. his a one man striker demolition man..
not forgetting, schmichel.. the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be..
..still remember his penalty save in the '99 FA semi will gunners.. he was fearless in the penalty box.. wat a save and a setup for giggs..

why I chose him, he does it for his country and club.
and when the fateful air crash, he was able to redevelop and make MUFC great again.. -

you should see the way he dribble past a few defenders before scoring in his prime -

one thing to note, MUFC players come and go..
tied in with one fact, time and tide waits for no-one. -
Wat Man U are today is becos of one man, during that time Pool and Gunner were fighting and Man U was still in mid table, b4 Eric arrive he won it with Leed in 92 season. In 96, when he wanted to quit from Man U, ppl were worried then. The thing that he brought to Man U is more than wat we see today, the player who played with him who are still around today continue his dream. His proud and never say die attitude have a evolution impact on Man U youngster then. But his skill till today has yet to find a replacement, a telanted player on and off the ball bring something new to the EPL.
