Manchester United striker Louis Saha and winger Cristiano Ronaldo picked up knocks against Chelsea and are doubts.
Saha's injury sees United struggling for strikers and Ryan Giggs could be used up front with John O'Shea and Darren Fletcher starting in midfield.
Louis SAHA is United's leading scorer with nine League and Cup goals.
Wayne ROONEY is the club's top marksman in the Premiership with seven.
ROONEY is one shy of 50 career Premiership goals.
ROONEY began his professional career with Everton, making 77 appearances and scoring 17 goals (67 appearances, 15 goals, in the Premiership) before signing for the Red Devils in August 2004.
Everton striker Andy Johnson is a major doubt because of a hamstring strain.
He missed the 1-1 draw at Charlton and is set to be on the sidelines along with on-loan keeper Tim Howard, who cannot play against his parent club.
Tim CAHILL is Everton's top scorer with seven goals. Andrew JOHNSON leads the way for the club in the Premiership with six goals, but he hasn't netted in 10 appearances for club and country.
Tim HOWARD and Joseph YOBO are the only players to have been on the field for every minute of every one of Everton's Premiership matches this season.
But HOWARD will lose that record in this match. He is on loan from Manchester United, and therefore ineligible to play.
Phil NEVILLE began his career with Manchester United, making nearly 400 appearances for them in 11 seasons, before signing for Everton in August 2005. In the Premiership, Neville made 263 appearances and scored five goals for the Red Devils.

AJ misses out again
ANDY JOHNSON has lost his fight to be fit for tomorrow's trip to Manchester United.
Everton striker AJ, 25, sat out Saturday's 1-1 draw at Charlton with a damaged hamstring.
And the the same injury has sidelined him for the Old Trafford showdown.
Toffees boss David Moyes said: "He did it in the 1-0 win over Bolton and tried to play on.
"We don't think it's too bad but he won't play at United." -

United sweating over key pair
Sir Alex Ferguson is sweating on the fitness of Louis Saha and Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Manchester United's home clash with Everton. Saha was taken off before the end of Sunday's draw with Chelsea after suffering a slight knock, while Ronaldo failed to return after going down under a hefty challenge from Ashley Cole.
Although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Park Ji-Sung are due to return to training this week after overcoming hamstring and ankle injuries respectively, neither will come into consideration for Everton's visit and, with Alan Smith now on a personal fitness programme and Giuseppe Rossi kicking his heels at Newcastle, Ferguson could be left with just Wayne Rooney as an orthodox forward.
Should neither Saha nor Ronaldo make it, Rooney could be joined in attack by Ryan Giggs, with Darren Fletcher and John O'Shea drafted in to fill the vacant midfield slots.
The problem just highlights the lack of depth in Ferguson's squad compared to Chelsea, although the imminent return of Solskjaer and Park is welcome news at such a congested stage of the season.
Solskjaer has already confirmed his well-being with six goals this term, while Park's industry could certainly come in handy as Ferguson looks to ease the burden on Giggs and fellow veteran Paul Scholes.
"Ji-Sung and Ole will begin training this week, which is great news for us," Ferguson told Manchester United Radio.
"With the hectic December period coming up, it is great we will have those players available."
Smith could be called on to face the Toffees, even though he looked badly off the pace in a couple of Carling Cup appearances and has not been seen on the bench since the defeat at Southend earlier this month.
"Alan is coming along fine," said Ferguson. "We have changed his fitness programme with the first team, now he is doing special training to aid his speed.
"He is responding well and he is enjoying it. He realises there is a lot of hard work involved but he is putting everything into it."

with Ronaldo and Saha both picking up knocks but still indispensable, they would expect to play, but MUFC will be going for quick scores, and then offload them for them to rest.
one good sign whenever players are injured are that they can walk off the field, if they can't, then they are in deep trouble.

so ronaldo, and saha both were able to walk off, but saha was holding his hamstring which was a big worry.
I am just surprised at the lack of progress for ASmith. He seems invisible.
Perhaps Rossi can be called back. -

Man Utd 3-0 Everton
Manchester United maintained their three-point lead at the Premiership summit with a comfortable win.
Sir Alex Ferguson's much-changed side struggled to find rhythm early on, but Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock with a 20-yard finish after 39 minutes.
Everton had no cutting edge and Patrice Evra scored his first goal for United from a tight angle after 63 minutes.
Substitute John O'Shea wrapped up the win with a flicked finish from Evra's cross two minutes from time.
United made five changes from the side that drew against Chelsea, with Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nemanja Vidic and Louis Saha all left out.

"After dropping two points against Chelsea this was an important game for us.
"I had to make changes because we have got an important Champions League game against Benfica coming up and we couldn't afford injuries and players coming out of the cold to play.
"Cristiano Ronaldo took his goal well and it was a good strike from Patrice Evra as well. He's a good striker of the ball and he's got real enthusiasm.
"We have got players to win games, but need a defensive record that wins titles and it was good to get another clean sheet."
Everton manager David Moyes:
"I'm pleased with how we played, especially in the first half.
"There was no shame in how they played and they can leave here with their heads high. We don't feel 3-0 was a fair reflection of the game.
"When you are 2-0 down it is very difficult, but it was important we didn't go to pieces. I'm very disappointed with the way we lost the third goal, which was very poor from our point of view."

If you guys have read the papers few days back, there's a small article why Starhub is not showing the live telecast for this week. SOmething like they have rights to show only 370 out of the 380 matches in the season. So they chose not to telecast this weeks one something like that.

Evra goal was amazing for a left-back... the way the took it you would have thought that he is a striker... it when through the legs of Wright...

Nev: First goal was crucial
After being left frustrated by the 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the weekend, the Reds' skipper was delighted to see the team get back to winning ways against the Toffees.
"We weren't playing particularly well at that point so to score just before half-time was vital. It also made things comfortable for us in the sense that we knew we just needed to keep the ball in the second half. The second goal killed the game off but even at 1-0 I still felt confident that we would keep a clean sheet. We said at half-time that if we keep a clean sheet we'd go on and win the match and thankfully we did that."
Sir Alex Ferguson made five changes to the side that started against Chelsea on Sunday. Darren Fletcher, John O'Shea, Patrice Evra, Mikael Silvestre and Kieran Richardson came in to face David Moyes' side and Neville was impressed with their contributions.
It was a special night for the Neville household as Gary and brother Phil - now captain of Everton - led the two teams out onto the pitch.
"It's something that I'll look back on in a few years time and feel very proud," explained the Reds' skipper. "Walking out at the front of our teams is a great honour for both of us anyway, but to do it together was brilliant."
