the way i see man city played with man utd totall digusted me ! the man city defenders gave man utd 3 free goalsOriginally posted by zocoss:There wasn't really much to complain about guys... The real difference was down to the new manager... Man u came up against a team that had a new manager, a new beginning and very eager to prove themselves to their new manager... and maybe at the same time, it shows how much they didn't like or belief in their old manager too.
The difference between Everton and West ham last night was probably when they when ahead, one started to take it easy and stop running as much, whereas the other with a new manager, kept running and chasing the game...
This effect is bound to happen as we have seen with Aston Villa and Portsmouth... but after a few weeks, the magic of a new manager effect will be gone...
Maybe many feel chelsea played well... but personally i thought chelsea were very lucky that they got 2 good goals at a time they needed it. But on the whole, their football is not as good as the last 2 years... They have been getting away as we can see from their recent games... They were lucky against Arsenal where they got a goal when they shouldn't have... and struggle to beat a almost 2nd team Newcastle... Last night, Everton switched-off when they took the lead... Drogba's goal was good but lampare's could have been block had the defenders didn't relax so much... and gave him a free shot at goal.
Whatever, i still see the chelsea team not as good yet but the title is theirs to lose to be fair... Man u still got a good chance compare to the last 2 years when they were 10 points behind at this stage of the season. Its still better to be 2 points ahead or a point behind then 10 points from them. I feel they need to bring in a player that can change games... maybe another winger.
anti chelsea fans would say the way everton played totally disgusted them by providing them enough space to score 2 goals in the space of 5 minutes, if chelsea players are as good as they were during the last 2 years, they wouldn;t still be trailing right now. kudos to west ham manager for turning things around, hope the hammers survive the relegation tis season, however its a pity pardew would be at home watching all this knowing that he had the players who could actually play but chose to be in the state they were when he was in charge.Originally posted by ghimpheng:the way i see man city played with man utd totall digusted me ! the man city defenders gave man utd 3 free goals
i think man utd was LUCKY TO WIN TOO Z
LAME CHANCES WERE CREATED by chelsea players itself
and chelsea players quality are undeniable
and yet u said that chelsea players WERE LUCKY
West ham did not sit back and defend like most weaker team does and thus get the victory just like arsenal did agianst man utd
me tooOriginally posted by Dead_Man_Inc:i couldn't sleep last night
YAH SAME!! HEart pain sia.. So I go and play yahoo pool haha.. Haiz sian hope they can maintain position.. They need to buck up.. Scholes and Neville was playing their balls out.. Haiz..Originally posted by Dead_Man_Inc:i couldn't sleep last night
ghimpheng relax, every team needs a fair share of luck in football..
yea the midfield crew save for carrick and giggs and ronaldo was all right, scholes and neville didn;t had the best of their days with all the miscue. maybe they are starting to tire or something.. hopefully the weekend crash would see a better performance with Park coming on earlier.Originally posted by dinky1409:YAH SAME!! Obviously you don't know anything about rivalry between the two teams.Originally posted by ghimpheng:the way i see man city played with man utd totall digusted me ! the man city defenders gave man utd 3 free goals

Lets just hope Larsson are 1 of the guys that can minimize this prob
obviously chelsea are under a lot of pressure. you can see it from mourihno's face during the match against everton.Originally posted by iceFatboy:he was not on the bench as he is not eligible only after the Jan transfer window so he can only join after early Jan. But he was behind the bench.
but I do believe his experience will benefit Saha and Rooney.
For all MUFC Fans, I rather the blip comes now than later when we don't have enough matches to gain ground...
and look at how Chelsea is "ROARING" after their near escape.
but I only want to point them to the table.
Yes, it is 2points lead, but for past 2 seasons, it was a 10+ point lead for them. so who's feeling the pressure???
Hehe.. Lets just see and let their football do the talking..Originally posted by iceFatboy:do note that Saha and Rooney are playing their first season together, and Rooney was off-colour.
MUFC no longer have a 30+ goal poacher like RVN, it is more team oriented than just the forwards. So using stats, it will be much harder.
but now with Larsson, he is supposed to better establish the forward play, and thus, better Rooney and Saha.
Just one note, we should not expect Larsson to score more, given his age, and loan period..
