Fergie hints at new Hargreaves move

Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted Manchester United may make another attempt to prise Owen Hargreaves away from Bayern Munich next month.
Ferguson has never made any secret of his desire to lure Hargreaves to England, with the player himself confirming a number of times he would move to Old Trafford without a second thought.
Unfortunately for both United and the England international, Bayern have shown no inclination to sell.
As recently as this week, officials from the German giants were declaring their intention to keep Hargreaves at least until the summer, when it has been widely predicted Ferguson will make a decisive push to sign the 25-year-old.
However, with Michael Carrick set to be sidelined for a month with an ankle problem, and the promise of an annual £25million transfer budget from owner Malcolm Glazer, Ferguson has suggested it may be worth one more tentative inquiry from chief executive David Gill during one of his regular conversations with Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
'We are waiting to see about it,' said Ferguson.
'David is always in touch with them because of the G14 and he sees Rummenigge quite regularly, so we will see.' -

Anyway i don't think chelsea needs him as they already got Makelele & Michael Essien... but i must say Makelele is getting rather old liao coming to 34... and that John Mikel is still far far away, not even close to the two of them. $16m... is he worth more than Carrick? $14-$18m.
I think John is 4x overpriced... and to think man u only paid $2m for him... Kanna chop carrot head liao...

I still felt that if Man U has signed Ronaldinho, they will be very strong. I thot that time, the then Man U chairman = Peter Kenyon played Man U out becos he's going to make a big dollar move to Chelsea, so he might as well scupper the deal & not benefit Man U.
Now too late liaoz, Ronaldinoho went to Barca & is unlikely he's going to be lured to Man U, unless with obscene amount of cash. Think Chelsea may still have the ability to try bah.
As for Robben, I think he's not interested to go Man U, money isn't enough. Otherwise, Robben will complement well with Ronaldo, flying down left & right. But there are other players with speed around, albeit raw - Aaron Lenon is one of them. -
