He's losing his touches and his long shots are not working..Originally posted by iceFatboy:Looking back, it seems MUFC are creating tons of chances to win the match twiceover but we are not putting the goals in the net..
of course, other than Ronaldo.
What happen to the bruteness of Rooney? His ability to hit the ball was second only to scholes, but Scholes seems to have found his boots but not Rooney..
the niggling suspicion in MUFC is that he has not peaked yet. To me, he seems more happy to provide than to go in and unleash a thunderbolt..
Reading what GN, captain has said (http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/manchesterunited/s/232/232040_neville_still_confident.html), it does make sense that they are swings in a long season.
Discussion Pts.
1) What happen to the bruteness of Rooney?
2) Will Larsson be the missing piece? His ability, experience to rub onto Rooney?
as for your comments on Park, it is misplaced.Originally posted by CKeer:Park Ji Sung can go home and make Kimchi. Against Newcastle with a relatively young backline, United would sure run riot but wad happened? Missed chances. Park has so many glorious opportunity to score but he either blast the ball high over the bar, mis-passed the ball or mis-controlled the ball. He looks totally lost like a headless-cockroach in that match.
Rooney is becoming more and more like Ronaldo(The Brazil one la.). He has grown sideways and he is alarmingly out of form. He has time to pull the trigger but for some reason, he chose not to.
I think in the next match, Fergie should try partnering Larsson with Rooney. Larsson's experience would definitely be of United's advantage. Watch out for his dummy runs and link up with Rooney.
Cheers.

from what I read, he is going to be rested for 10days.Originally posted by Gackt247:U know wat i tink.. Rooney is like Owen. Start out young and daring.. nothing to lose.. not corrupted by wealth and fame yet. Now as time goes by has lost his courage at running against defenders. See defenders scared liao quickly mis-pass. Gone were the days he would brashly unleash shots like the one he scored against Arsenal when he was still in Everton. Talent cant be lost, he probably lost his form, but more importantly he lost his guts and confidence.
