Good obviously. The results speak for itself. -

I would rather break up into different aspects.
his link up play is average. But considering his first game, rooms for improvement. but there are signs that Rooney is enjoying his presence.
his motiviation factor - fanastic. When he scored, I think the whole stadium and all at home erupted. Now compared that to some other teams (can't name due to non-flaming laws), this is fanastic.
his touches - well, due to his first game, sometimes, he brings the ball to the touchline which deprive GN and Wingers room. and this slows down the attack. so average. -
Larsson can extend Man Utd stay
Manchester United's on-loan striker Henrik Larsson has been told by his Swedish club he can stay at Old Trafford until the end of the season.
Larsson, 35, who scored on his United debut in Sunday's FA Cup win over Aston Villa, signed from Helsingborg on a three-month loan deal this month. But Helsingborg chairman Sten-Inge Fredin would allow Larsson to stay on.
"If he wants to stay then we'll open that discussion with United. We will not stand in his way," said Fredin. Former Celtic and Barcelona striker Larsson, however, is refusing to consider his future with United - having only just made his debut. "It is all ifs and I am just taking one match at a time at the moment," he told the Times newspaper. -

wait a few matches then judge. look at sheva, scored in his first match then now looked wad happened. but since its a short term loan, it will boost the morale in the dressing room

I thought he was brilliant for someone his age.. That goal from normal play its probably looks scrambled and messy but look at the replay.. Exquisite touch man.. And his touches are awesome something Saha and Rooney still can't produced yet.. Absolute 9/10!

his first touch and passing was not bad -

he linked up quite well with Rooney...
they looked like they played together for years...
too bad rooney couldn't finish the chances he had... -

I am unsure whether Larsson staying till end of season is a plus or minus point.
1) cause if he is emotionally ready for the loan period and asking him to stay longer may not have a good effect. And that could be worse.
2) and also, if we rely on him too much, and that may spark disharmony among the strikers.
3) And with that, Management may be too "lazy" to go out and scout for a striker for MUFC.
For me, I rather he comes in on a high, galvantise everyone and then leave on a high. And the rest of the guys do the work and complete the season. -
Very good.
But I doubt Fergie will use him regularly, as he is considered as a 3rd or 4th striker in the first team after Ronney and Saha. In fact he shld have joined a mid table club to secure more match appearance.
I will describe him as a renown striker -
Too early to tell.. might be first-match lucky?? But agreed that his goal was a beauty, considering his age too. Can't deny that he is a real motivator for the team!

£1.2m to keep Larsson
MANCHESTER UNITED must fork out another £1.2million to keep Henrik Larsson for the rest of the season. And if United boss Alex Ferguson wants the 35-year-old striker for 2007-08 as well, it could cost the Premiership leaders a cool £3m.
The Swede has initially agreed to stay at Old Trafford until March 12 before returning home to play for Helsingborgs. But his goalscoring debut against Aston Villa on Sunday swiftly led to talk of him extending his stay for two extra months. And if that happens, Helsingborgs will be looking for a hefty lump of compensation.
Chairman Sten-Inge Fredin said: “The exact sum a deal like this will cost United depends on a lot of circumstances. For example, we would have to decide if we need to replace him in our own team.”
Fredin added: “It is, first and foremost, up to Henrik if he will stay in Manchester. If he wants that, then we are certainly up for discussions with United.”
