SPURS TO MAKE MOVE FOR BROWN

Tottenham are reportedly ready to make a £5 million offer for Manchester United defender Wes Brown.
White Hart Lane boss Martin Jol is desperate to add a central defender to his squad in the January transfer window and has turned his attention to the United and England man after being snubbed by West Ham's Anton Ferdinand and Deprtivo La Coruna's Fabricio Coloccini, according to the Sun.
Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Brown and would be reluctant to part with the player he once called 'the most natural defender' in England.
Brown has also been linked with a move to Newcastle but recently insisted he wanted to remain at Manchester United for the rest of his career. -
