they were lucky to win. a draw would have been a fairer result. anyway the premiership is more interesting now.

Agreed Arsenal played a better game. Utd was good for the 1st 10 mins, den lose their concentration. They could hardly penetrate Arsenal's defence at times. Since the lead is going to be maintained at 6 pts, I wld rather both Utd and Chelsea won their games. At least can shake off Lvp and Arsenal by greater points diff.

they should have gone all out for a win. 9 points will really kill of the title challenge. even if man u had lost 6 points is a good enough backup. -
Nah... i thought at the end of the weekend the results was still good. If you had asked me before the weekend that united would still be 6 pts away from chelsea i would have taken it without a thought... Cos to go to arsenal was a very tough away match. The better team won
To be fair, this was a weekend that could have seen united's lead cut to 4 or even 3 points... cos of arsenal's red hot form and pool's unpredictable form but the surprised lost by chelsea made it all the more better.
I think what this weekend results did would also put more pressure on chelsea cos if they don't win, they may not even get 2nd now (auto spot in CL) and they will start to look nervously over their shoulders if pool or gunners are closing in on them... -

I admit MUFC got outplayed by a better team...
but when read the sun papers, they said title wide open, I laughed..
Gunners are what 12 points behind MUFC. and for them to even catch up, it requires MUFC to lose 4 matches in the last 13 matches or even Chelsea to drop that much, I think a bit difficult. -
MU second rated when met ARSEnal last nite....

Actually it was quite an even match. Man u slow down when the took the lead... Otherwise, they did play rather well i would say. Anyway, the weekend is over and they are still 6 points in the lead, that is most important.

Congrats to Arsenal, they played better den United last nite.
Anyway, to sum things up, United will always switch off at the wrong moment. How many time have we seen this before?
But wadever the case is, it's a job well done by the gunners.

I thought it was a mistake to have taken out Ronaldo... and put in Heinze. Had Ron still be on the field, he might have help Scholes out in that area... Heinze went straight into the centre of the box to make it 5-4-1 when they were doing well with a 4-4-2 formation. And he didn't help cover the left-back position when Eboue broke away from Evra...
You notice when Ronaldo run on the wing, there is always at least 2 arsenal players near him... But united didn't do that on their area. -
ManU middle really cannot lah! Now they really wished they got Ballack !
