Ok Gary, time to pack ur bags and leave.Originally posted by bryanseb:Gary Neville has admitted that the manner of Manchester United's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal was hard to take.
United looked set to claim victory when Wayne Rooney headed home early in the second half, but they were denied even a point as late goals from Robin van Persie and Thierry Henry secured a remarkable turnaround.
Neville felt United had played well enough to win after containing Arsenal's strikeforce for 80 minutes, and was devastated to finish on the losing side.
However, the right-back is confident that United will put the defeat behind them and bounce back quickly.
"It's a kick in the teeth for us but we have to recover from that," Neville told MUTV.
"The fact we're still six points clear is no consolation to us. It's difficult to think of the positives. We've played a lot worse here and won.
"Overall it was a good performance but it was ruined. We're disappointed to say the least.
"It's a hard defeat but we'll recover, we'll be okay. We've got to get back on the winning track."
Neville also revealed his frustration at United's poor defending in the dying stages.
"We defended well until the last five minutes, then they started putting a lot of long balls forward which is unusual for them," he said.
"Every goal can be avoided, things could have been done differently but we've got to pick ourselves up and get on with it.
"We must look at what went wrong in those five minutes."
