Tottenham's Ledley King has been ruled out for up to eight more weeks so he misses out along with the ill Teemu Tainio and the suspended Mido.
Aaron Lennon has recovered from illness and Dimitar Berbatov and Jermaine Jenas have shrugged off injuries.
Jermain DEFOE is Tottenham's leading scorer with 14 goals - seven in the Premiership.
Louis Saha is pushing for a return to the Manchester United starting line-up after recovering from a knee injury.

He did quite well actually; punched the ball from a Spurs' corner and also that one-on-one with Keane. But then again, he IS a defender and that's what he's good at: tackling the ball with his feet.
But te after-match talks claimed that Rio purposely passed a slow ball just to make O'shea "work" since the latter took the keeper's jersey away from the former.
And they nicknamed O'Shea "The Cat".
Nice win by the way. Well done. -

honestly, for the first half, I would believe if someone were to tell me the referee is a chelsea fan..
the only thing he did right was to "compensate" the penalty after he wrongly misjudged Larsson..
anyway, credit to both teams for keeping it clean.. -
yea...referee was quite harsh on the Utd lads in the first half. But could see he was quite stressed out.. blowing the whistle ahead of the 5 mins added time and heaving a huge sign of relief at the end
O Shea did really fine! All the lads juz rally around and supported him by clearing the ball away as much as possible all the time...except for the Rio one Honestly when I saw O shea one on one, I thot tat's it man.
It was a great game!! 4-0 is a deserving win for Utd -

however i think its high time that FA should put out some kinda standard head guard for all keepers in the future.. the keepers' injury tis season is getting outta hand, with them the only ones who would go head first in a 1 on 1 situation, they should at least be made to wear some protection to their fragile head.. -

Rio ferdinand make a blunder (poor backpass) during the 2nd half, luckily Shea uses his defensive sliding tackle to push the ball away from goal. What a howler that was from an England international.
Saw the whole game, man utd deserves the victory. Spurs looks short of ideas . After the dubious penalty, (they should have gotton a penalty earlier) Man utd doesn't look back. -

The papers claim that Ronaldo's penalty was given out of a dive, which the referee seriously thought was a foul. I saw it was a clear foul. But the news said it looked a foul from most of the angles, but one of the replays from the opposite corner showed clearly that Malbranque did not make contact with Ronaldo, who instead used his right leg to propel himself to the ground.
Anyone saw any replays of that?
