Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo wants fans to stop booing him.
The Portugal international ace became an unpopular figure in England for his part in Wayne Rooney's dismissal in last summer's World Cup.
The fall out has seen the former Sporting star roundly booed wherever he travels around the Premiership with The Red Devils.
However, Arsenal's fans did not boo him in their recent 2-1 win over United and Ronaldo hopes a new trend has been set.
"It would be good if they stopped booing me," pleased Ronaldo.
"When I played against Arsenal, nobody booed me.
"I hope nobody boos me again."
Hope he really meant it.. -

the boos are more for his (mistaken) antics in the world cup.
As for diving, I don't think he is alone.. There are much more in other clubs (highlighted in the tiger beer adv).
Just got spot-lighted cause of his visibility now. I don't see anyone debating about AJ from Everton..
As for those who want to focus on his negativity, go on. But it is turning stale.
But if you still want to harp on this, I do ask that you do it in a more general forum, and please for goodness sake, use your true nick, cause I believe you are more welcome among your own kind or flock.
