Rio Ferdinand feels he has finally foud his perfect partner at centre-back in Nemanja Vidic. The pair have been Alex Ferguson's preferred partnership at the back and have helped United concede just 18 goals in 26 league games this season. Ferdinand said he finally feels the Red Devils have a settled defence, something which has proved vital as United continue their march towards the Premiership title.
"We've never really had a settled back line since I've been here," Ferdinand told the Daily Star. "I have played with numerous people and, now, it is the most settled it has been and we're getting our reward for that.
"We've got a good understanding of each other's games. "I've gained a lot of experience over the years and Nemanja is willing to learn as well. He's doing that at a great rate at the moment. "We've got the bit between our teeth to go on and keep getting the right results."
