Manchester United's Premiership destiny will be decided on the road, according to Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
United are currently six points clear of Chelsea at the top of the table but have some tricky looking away trips left between now and 13th May - the date of their final game of the season at home to West Ham.
As well as being forced to visit Stamford Bridge and Anfield, home of arch-rivals Liverpool, Ferguson must also negotiate trips to another quartet of grounds as he seeks to claim his ninth Premiership crown.
As such, the veteran boss believes the destination of the trophy will be decided by how United fare on their travels, with Chelsea looking to take advantage of any blip in their form.
"There are two big ones at Liverpool and Chelsea, but Fulham, Portsmouth, Everton and Manchester City will all be hard," said Ferguson in the Daily Star.
"Our destiny lies in those away games."
Ferguson is hoping that star striker Wayne Rooney can help United maintain their momentum in what remains of the campaign.
The England international has claimed four goals in his last five games and is close to recapturing his best form according to the Old Trafford chief.
"If Wayne can reach the kind of form he achieved this time last year we have got an even better chance," Ferguson added.
"He was devastating last year and there are glimpses of that coming back now.
"Scoring against Arsenal, his double against Portsmouth and another one against Watford - these are all signs that he is getting back."
