Is it time to drop Vidic ?

Recently i find that he has been making quite a number of mistakes...
His form seem to have drop... Should he be drop from the 1st team before utd gets into trouble? -
dun stop a winning formula. if u drop him now, his confidence will be shattered. show some faith in him.

Rio Ferdinand was great last night against Pool... Sometimes i feel people over criticize him. He has been United's best defender for the last few yers already... Probably the most consistent.

Evra seems to be getting sloppier and overconfident at times. I wonder if he should be keeping his first-team place instead of Heinze.
As for Vidic, I believe its just his jitteryness; and lets hope he overcomes this before it cost the team to lose points. I mean, he is named the Serbian version of Terry.

Vidic is not pacy, see how bellamy with his pace, troubled Vidic throughout the match. yes he is strong and good in the air, but he is lacking pace.

Liverpool game plan was to play Gerrard, vs Evra and then Vidic vs Bellamy.
That's why Vidic looks so bad. But to me, he did okie.
While Pool continues to torment MUFC, smart play by SAF to put in MikelSilvestre.
Most important, he got pace and build to deny Pennant and thus nullify the right side attack of Liverpool.
Main concern is still middle. Comparing to Liverpool's richness of MF, we are well far behind. With an OwenH, perhaps we are better placed. -

Another problem is at front; with Solksjaer out due to inury and Larsson leaving us soon, there'll be only 2 effective strikers.. How to cope like that?

Heinze is actually slow... that could be the reason he is being drop.

most centre backs are generally not quick...i think the fastest u can get is ferdinand..he may seem slow at times,that's becoz of his lapse of concentration

Normally Defenders use positioning to cut off angles and not pace.
Like how Vidic try to push Bellamy out to the flanks. Out of danger area. -
drop him not, just rest him on Saturday's FA match with middlesbourough..

I think the match against pool, Evra din do his job properly - he has the pace but he got drawn away by Gerrard. As a result, i saw Vidic being turned here and there by Bellamy. Perhaps SAF employed man-marking but I would have thought Vidic was better at heading out crosses. As a result, Pool's attack was primarily launched from the right, via Bellamy into the box.
Man U was lucky that Kuyt missed the perfect sitter. I thought Evra should have prevented any crosses from the byline but he was nowhere to be seen.
Vidic was tormented for the match. Conversely, Gary Neville did okay on the other side, little or no cross came from there.
Vidic needs a rest i feel, but he cannot be totally blamed for the performance against Liverpool, he lacked the pace & agility of Bellamy. However, his performance against Fulham the previous match wasn't that good. Ferdinand was a rock against Liverpool and so was Van der Saar. -
Van Der Sar is very dependent and solid. If the defence collapse, we still hv him as the last wall. But he will be v stressed out.
Heinze should hv a chance to play, even as substitution. He's playing international for Argentina after all. He may lack a bit of pace, but he's got the passion and consistency.
