isnt that a nice gesture?
with the ever increasing TV revenue, blackburn actually made the gesture to reduce season tix price for fans. football stadiums are not the same without being packed by fans.... 1 place i knew was delle alpi. juve is such a big club but the stadium is nv packed, unless its a big match.
how about man utd doing the same?
its good tat they do not forget their fans. a club no matter how successful, gets nowhere without their fans. kudos to blackburn.
Reducing ticket prices is indeed a nice gesture... But the thing is if your stadium is always full and you still have to turn away 6,000 more fans each week in Utd's case... Do you think the owners will reduce the ticket price?
Reducing ticket prices is a way to attract fans if you have a problem in filling your stadium. But the thing is... unlike some other clubs, Man utd, Pool and Arsenal have no problem filling their stadiums... So do they seriously need to reduce their ticket prices from a business point of view?
Lesser clubs of course could use this as a good means to bring in more supporters to fill their part empty stadiums.
