Manchester United reportedly lining up a sensational £15million summer swoop for Barcelona's Deco. The Catalan giants are planning to overhaul their squad at the end of this season and according to the News of the World Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to sign the unsettled Portuguese ace.
Deco has already hinted he wants a fresh challenge after three years at the Nou Camp and it is thought that bringing him to Old Trafford would help ensure Cristiano Ronaldo pens a contract with United.
Although Ronaldo's new deal is expected to be five years, there is still disputes over the pay with the player holding out for more than £100,000 per week in the summer. -

I find it quite hard to belief that Barce would let him go... But then again, he would be 30 yrs old in about 5 months time... And Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain coming out to say Eto'o, Ronaldinho will stay but no mention of him so... who knows...

15mil is a little on the high side for a 30yr old though. We are not chelski. Scholes can at most last another season or so and someone with vision and good passing is needed to replace him. The only other player in the Epl right now that can fill his shoes is Fabregas but I don't think arsenal like to sell him. -
Wat position is best suited for Deco? Manu still bent on getting Hargreaves? If Manu getting both, I tink Manu will release at least 1 midfielder wor... Park... Carrick... Richardson... Fletcher... Giggs... BETTER NOT Giggs. Else I curse Manu till Ryan Giggs retire from football altogether.

Park is doing okie, given expectations.
with Owen who will play more as a covering midfielder.
it will more like 4-1-3-1-1. cause rem, MUFC's game plan is fluidity and speed..
and it doesn't matter which 3 sits there as long as they are quick, counter-attack fast, and creative.
