1) hmm i think the LB slots(evra and heinze) are filled already. whereas for the RB gary neville could probably go for another 1 or 2 seasons. maybe get a young RB like micah richardsOriginally posted by dinky1409:Hee exciting.. Alright.. I feel we should get a few players:
1) Versatile left/right back in the age of 28+ so at least when he grow old our youngsters can fill in the gap.. Like Spector, Pique and Craig and all. I would love Carragher but too bad hahahah dreams only..
2) A Solid DM. Flethcer still needs a few more years to ripen up his technique and passing. If he can achieve mastery of these 2 attributes, I assure y'all he will be a world class player sought by many. De Rossi would be good.
3) A versatile striker who can fit in with Man U style. Look at Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs and Solksjaer. They can play wingers too as well as strikers. Saha and Smith are good enough up front. Not to forget up and coming Rossi who needs a few more years. Pedersen would be great. Joaquin. Simao. Quaresma. Maybe Raul? Gudjohnsen would be great too. Robinho I would love to have him at United but worried that EPL might not suit him. So small.
1) To fill in when injuries hit. Spector is on loan I think.Originally posted by omgukilledkenny:1) hmm i think the LB slots(evra and heinze) are filled already. whereas for the RB gary neville could probably go for another 1 or 2 seasons. maybe get a young RB like micah richardsbut considering he's from man city it'll be a long shot. btw spector no more not at united
.
2) hargreaves?
3) i guess maybe torres would fit the winger/striker role. for an out and out striker it'll be huntelaar. i feel we should get a winger for gigg's backup, maybe nani?
Pedersen should be worth at least £50,000 per week.Originally posted by Dead_Man_Inc:MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to snatch Morten Gamst Pedersen away from Blackburn by triggering an £8million release clause in the Norwegian's Ewood Park contract.
Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to land the versatile Pedersen, who has made a big impact in his three years at Ewood Park.
And with Fergie already planning for life when Ryan Giggs, 33, calls time on his Old Trafford career, the Scot is ready to make his move for the 25-year-old Pedersen this summer.
Blackburn fended off interest by Spurs last summer by doubling Pedersen's £10,000-per-week wages and handing him a new four-year deal.
But part of the new contract was the release clause that allows Pedersen the right to move to any club that puts in an £8m bid for his services.
United have been alerted to the existence of the clause. which is similar to the one that allowed Liverpool to land Craig Bellamy for £6m.
It was a protective gesture by Rovers, who were determined to ensure they did not lose him for a minimal fee.
Yet it is a licence for a predator to come in and effectively force a sale, with United being able to offer Pedersen a huge signing-on fee and massively improved wages.

2) Hargreaves still a bit unsure about him. I wouldn't say he is a world class DM.
3) Torres doubt he will come. Maybe swoop in for Tevez at West Ham.

[b]Gattuso agent keen to avoid Man Utd rumours
The agent of AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso is keen to play down the long-term interest of Manchester United ahead of their Champions League showdown.
Gattuso has revealed this season that United have come in for him on at least three separate occasions, only to be stonewalled by Milan.
Aware that transfer talk is sure to increase as the semifinal draws near, the Italian midfielder's agent, Andrea D'Amico, told Tutto Mercato Web: "This meeting is far too important for him to be affected by these type of issues.
"The appreciation of a great club like Manchester United is always appealing, but it's useless at the moment as Rino is focused only on his own team.
"Rino has said he wants to close his career in Scotland, that's true, but the end of his playing days is still a long way away. He's only 29 years old."

he's a great player but at 29 years old? worth it?

Sell Saha, get NaniOriginally posted by Dead_Man_Inc:Now there are rumours that Fergie wanna sell away Saha, what do you all think?
he was one of the main reasons why we got off to a flying start at the beginning of this season, but he got injured when we most needed him. thus i feel he's too unreliable. unless he's able to play and convince fergie that he can lead the line again, he'll probably go.Originally posted by Dead_Man_Inc:Now there are rumours that Fergie wanna sell away Saha, what do you all think?
kinda like him, but sad that he's too injury proneOriginally posted by omgukilledkenny:he was one of the main reasons why we got off to a flying start at the beginning of this season, but he got injured when we most needed him. thus i feel he's too unreliable. unless he's able to play and convince fergie that he can lead the line again, he'll probably go.
