Berbatov’s long-term future at Tottenham HotspurThe Bulgarian international has already established himself as one of the star turns of The Premiership, just a year after arriving at White Hart Lane in a £10.9million move from Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal and Manchester United are believed to be willing to part with £20million for the player, yet Spurs boss Jol is confident the 26-year-old will stay where he is for some time yet.
"Dimitar's playing well and the supporters love him. He's a player that if he feels that arm around him I feel that he's happy," Jol told Sky Sports. "There's a lot more to come from him and he wants to stay here for a number of years.
"We are not a selling club.
“I'm supported by the board and we want to do better and better each year so why should I sell my best players?"
