Wenger: Chelsea face dip
ARSENE WENGER claims Chelsea will be “grieving” when they arrive at Arsenal on Sunday. Chelsea go to the Emirates Stadium for a match they cannot afford to lose if they are to stand any chance of winning the Premiership. And Wenger believes the Champions League loss to Liverpool will have knocked the stuffing out of Jose Mourinho’s troops.
The Gunners boss said: “The team that goes out of the Champions League will have a little dip because it’s like losing someone from your family. “You need time to recover from that. “The team who goes out will suffer in the championship. That is for sure.”
Wenger insists he speaks from experience as Arsenal suffered a slump after losing to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in March. -

Man U usually bounced back from a defeat... so I am putting my money on Man U to win. -
I hope United can bounce back and hit City rivals real hard and to make matter worse for City, Barton is suspended for City who is struggling and could be relegated.
I sense a 3-1 United win.

Not that I see Man City no up, but Utd will be hot-headed after their Milan defeat. The derby will be a chance to release their pent-up pek-chekness Somemore City was not gracious enough to agree to postpone the match. Utd is going to take it out on them
And I fully cheer them on for it -
Well... Joey 'bad boy' Barton won't be in that match to play. So those who wanna see his butt crack will be disappointed.

its time to move on and focus on the EPL.... and dun give 2.5 days of rest as an excuse. they were so lethargic against milan.... doubt they exerted any strength or expended any energy.

but everything about form, scoring are thrown out of window cause this is a derby.
And this is the perfect chance for MUFC to reply. If they win, and Chelsea can't against Gunners. It is curtains.
But I bet all BLUES think alike, RED is bad so be ready for a tough game.
I think Ronaldo and Rooney should be all fired up. Let's unlease them.. -

PEARCE: RON IS OUTSTANDING
Stuart Pearce is relieved he never had to deal with the threat posed by Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. As the finest full-back of his generation and the owner of 78 England caps, Pearce came face-to-face with all the top wingers of his time, and usually came out on top.
Yet the Manchester City manager accepts Ronaldo is a phenomenon the likes of which are rarely seen. And, while he admires the Portugal international, he is glad it will not be his responsibility to stop him when City tackle United in the Manchester derby at Eastlands on Saturday.
"I am glad my time in the game finished before his started," smiled Pearce. "He is outstanding. Together with Didier Drogba he has been head and shoulders above anyone else in the league.
"Once he gets into his stride he is very difficult to stop because of the speed of movement in his feet. "He has pace but he also has power and has adapted to the physical side of the game in England very quickly.
"Age-wise, he is nowhere near his prime yet either. I am delighted he is playing his football in the Premiership and hopefully, he will be here for many more years to come.
"One day he might even see the light and come and join me at Manchester City." Pearce's final comment was delivered with his tongue firmly in his cheek. The City boss knows his club could virtually sell their entire first-team squad and still not raise enough to buy Ronaldo. Instead, he will tell his team to try to prevent him getting the ball as the best way of stopping him wreaking havoc. -
