FA to investigate Ball and Brown
FA disciplinary chiefs will view television footage of the Ball incident during Saturday's Manchester derby and the City defender looks certain to face a charge with a disciplinary hearing is likely to take place on Thursday.
An apparent headbutt by Fulham's Brown on Liverpool's Alonso will also be investigated, it was confirmed on Monday.
An FA spokesman said: "We will look at the television footage of the incidents and ask the officials what action they would have taken had they seen the incidents, and any charges will be based on that." -
i think there will at least be a 3 match ban for both.

When Rooney walked off, substituted after 87 minutes, a City fan threw a rolled up scarf at him. Rooney looked at it on the ground, picked it up up to examine it, then put it down again and stamped on it. -
