Carrick stays positive
Michael Carrick insists United can be proud of their achievements this season despite being left devastated by their FA Cup final defeat against Chelsea.
Didier Drogba struck the decisive blow in the Wembley showpiece four minutes before the end of the second period of extra-time to hand Jose Mourinho's men a 1-0 victory.
Carrick admits it was a tough way to lose but says the Reds have much to positive about after securing the Premiership title.
"To lose a final anyway is bad, but to lose it like we did after having a chance to win is devastating," he told Sky Sports News.
"We are disappointed now, but when we go away and look at the season we can be very happy with the way we have played and what we have achieved.
"It has been an amazing season and being champions was what we wanted to do. We have managed to do that; we obviously wanted to win the cup.
"It is not a good place to be, but we will bounce back."
