Wes wants to be a Red for life

  Manchester United defender Wes Brown has revealed he is determined to see out the rest of his career with the Premier League champions.
  
  Now happily over the nightmare run of injuries which plagued his early days at Old Trafford, Brown is approaching a decade of service at United.
  
  With his contract due to expire next summer, the 27-year-old has picked the perfect time to hit top form.
  
  "I have always tried my best for the team," said Brown.
  
  "I have been here nine years now and I would do anything for the club.
  
  "It is good to know how highly I am valued by the manager. It is certainly hard to imagine ever playing for anyone else.
  
  "Hopefully that won't happen. I am happy here and hopefully I can stay here."
  
  With Neville definitely out of Sunday's showdown with Chelsea, Brown will keep his place at right-back.

  he was promising way back, but a series of injuries and below par performances pulled him back...
  
  guess he'll get his contract renewed la... since he aint wanting to leave like phil neville, butt, richardson, smith, rossi, and heinze.

  I'm not sure about Phil and Nick, but you can't blame Richardson, Smith and Rossi leaving. :p
  
  I would love for them to stay too, but it's just not fair if they have to rot in the reserves or as subs for the rest of their playing career in Old Trafford. You can't be so selfish.

  phil and nick needed 1st team football and man utd let them go so they could have that....
