a few things from this clash..
firstly, ronaldo's performance.. He was out of the game, (like in Milan), and was ineffective. There were 2 attempts to get free-kicks which did not go down well with me. I expected much from him, but again he did not deliver.
the vital thing from this win, is OwenH. If he is healthy, MUFC got chance in both UCL and league. He was not everywhere but in all the crucial areas.
He stopped kewell, riise and even babel.
lastly, EDS.. on this game,he reminds me of barthez. you would expect barthez to leave the line, but not EDS. He almost costs MUFC the win.
irregardless it was a set piece or open play, it is good to get a win at Anfield again. -
i think our defenders did a wonderful job too

Don't know what else to say, just feeling so happy...
I guess those Pool guys at the PUB must be feeling sick after the match... Maybe drinks will be going of the counter quite easily now, to drown their sorrow... I bet it can't be a nice place to be right this moment...
