Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud has warned the club's fans to temper their enthusiasm regarding the potential arrival of Mikael Silvestre.
Bordeaux want the unsettled Manchester United dfender and Silvestre, a life-ling Girondins fan, has already admitted that the feeling is mutual. With the English champions also willing to sell, it would appear that the deal is a foregone conclusion, but Triaud isn't so sure.

Silvestre No Closer To Bordeaux
Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has suggested that there has been little headway in their bid to bring unsettled Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre back to France.
Bordeaux clearly want the player and Silvestre, a life-ling Girondins fan, has already admitted that the feeling is mutual. With the English champions also willing to sell, it would appear that the deal is a foregone conclusion, but they just can't seem to get over the stumbling block posed by his wage demands, which are reported to be £150,000 per month.
