Manchester United winger Zoran Tosic is to join CSKA Moscow in an £8m deal after snubbing a move to Cologne.
The 23-year-old Serb had been on loan at Cologne from United but will go to Russia after the World Cup.
Cologne director Michael Meier said: 'We made him an offer to stay.
'But the sums of money put before him make it hard for any German club to compete.'

Manchester United have confirmed that Zoran Tosic has joined CSKA Moscow for an undisclosed fee.
The Serbia winger has signed a five-year deal with the Russian club having failed to make the first-team breakthrough at Old Trafford.

Zoran Tosic has hit out at Sir Alex Ferguson for not giving him a chance at Manchester United.
The Serbia winger joined CSKA Moscow in an £8million deal this week just 18 months after signing for United from Partizan Belgrade for £7m.
And after being shipped out to Cologne on loan last season, Tosic concluded he had no future at Old Trafford.
'I'm already 23, but Manchester United didn't give me a chance to prove myself,' he said.
'Obviously, I'm an athlete, I have ambition, but I want to show myself on the pitch, not on the bench. That's the main reason I left.
'CSKA Moscow, in my opinion, are quite a famous club, consistently playing in European competition and fighting for the Russian League title.'
Tosic and Adem Ljajic were lauded as ones for the future when they joined in January last year, but the option to sign Ljajic after an initial loan period was passed up a year later and the 18-year-old is now at Fiorentina.

No waste lah, I thought they are very lucky to be able to sell for a $1m profit somemore... Fergie did used him before but, he was losing or giving away the ball too easily... He is not used to the EPL so his reaction was always too slow...
Therefore, can sell with profit I say very good liao loh... Cos he could have easily been one of those resold for like $2m like in the case of Forlan...
